Meet Dr. Inger
Dr. Maayan Inger is our board certified periodontal specialist at London Periodontics. She completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Universidad Javeriana in Bogota-Columbia, where she placed 1st in her class. She then received her M.Sc. in Periodontology from the University of Toronto and currently teaches at the University of Toronto as a part-time periodontology clinical instructor.
Dr. Maayan Inger has received many Honours and Awards throughout her education and work experiences including:
- ICOI Fellowship and Diplomate Status
- Certificate for the best clinical science research from the University of Toronto
- 3rd prize for the International College of Prosthodontists Poster Award
- Colombian Board Exam excellence recognition for achieving the highest overall score
- Dean's Honour List
- Dean Scholarhsip for Academic Excellence for ranking 1st in the Faculty of Dentistry's D.D.S. program
- Excellency award in Human Anatomy by "Editorial Medica Panamericana"
Dr. Maayan Inger has 5 years of research experience in dentistry and periodontology, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She has published and presented numerous scientific papers found in journals across the world.
Dr. Maayan Inger is an active member of the Ontario Society of Periodontology, the ODA, The American Academy of Periodontology, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. She holds the International Implantologist Fellowship and Diplomate and is affiliated with numerous dental groups and associations.
Dr. Maayan Inger also speaks fluent English, Spanish, and Hebrew. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, hiking, and traveling.
